About Life with Cates

I grew up without the guidance a lot of women quietly long for. At sixteen, I was on my own — learning beauty, boundaries, resilience, and rebuilding the hard way.

Life tested me through young motherhood, loss, starting over, and building stability from nothing. I didn’t have a roadmap. I built one.

I created LifewithCates to be the voice I didn’t have.
The big sister. The honest friend. The steady reminder that it’s going to be okay.
